Blocker is a game that holds so much promise, a great sounding name, the home page looks great and it is advertised as a full action game that can be found in the addictinggames website. But when you get down to it, Blocker is a very average game with very average graphics and basically average everything.
The concept of the game is nice, you are a triangle that has to get through lots of bubbles that are pushing you out of the way. It sounds like fun. But once you are in the game you see that the graphics are very dull, white hollow bubbles on a blue background. The triangle is flashing dark pink and light blue with a little fire power at the back. Moving the triangle is odd also, you have to use the letter keys, W, A, S and D. With most games today it is easy and every player is used to using the arrows. Shooting the bubbles is done by the space bar.
So basically only if you are a left handed person is this game comfortable for you. You have to maneuver using your left hand on the WASD keys and your right hand on the space bar to shoot. This is not the easiest way to play even for the more coordinated amongst us. The music is rather jazzy but all the same tone and after a while becomes very boring and repetitive. There are different levels to the game but to be quite honest I was not interested in trying to pursue the game and get to a higher level. Sorry but as you may have gathered, Blocker would not be one of my chosen games!
